After video of the famous Latin Trap Artist Ozuna hitting a security guard went viral on social media and morning radio shows, Ozuna himself went online to issue a statement on his official Facebook Account.
He meditado y reflexionado mucho sobre el incidente que pasó la noche del sábado en mi segundo concierto en el United Palace de la ciudad de Nueva York.
Para mí no ha sido fácil llegar a donde estoy y gracias a Dios y a ustedes mi público hemos logrado avanzar. Este trabajo conlleva muchos sacrificios que no cambiaría por nada en el Mundo. Soy un joven emprendedor que apenas estoy creciendo, al mismo tiempo que mi carrera, pero sobretodo soy humano, y como humano me equivoco. Lamento mucho que este incidente haya pasado. Les pido disculpa a la persona del incidente, a todos los presentes y a mis fanáticos. Mi equipo de trabajo se encuentra realizando ajustes en los protocolos de seguridad para evitar que se repitan este tipo de situaciones en el futuro. Nuevamente, mis sinceras disculpas.

Many of his fans took to social media to show there love and support, but many followers were not so happy saying that Ozuna and his staff were in the wrong and will no longer show support for Ozuna. So for only two videos have been posted of the incident and very little information. We do know that the person that was hit with the Mic was a security guard that worked at the venue.
